2.4 - On receiving the controller

  • Check the line voltage and power are compatible with your appliance: 85–125VAC/180–265VAC single phase with automatic switching voltage between 110 and 230 VAC. Frequency is 50/60 Hz.
  • Check the Quick Stop contact (pin J17-4) is correctly wired on the I/O connector: it can be a strap between pin J17-4 and J17-2 or a connection to a PLC or a push-button

On receiving the controller

The opening of the Quick Stop contact disables the power circuit.
• Switch on the GFI (see 1 hereafter)
• Connect the tool.
• Connect the power supply cable on the mains (2)
• Press the On/Off switch on the front panel to power on the controller

Select your language by tapping
  • Select your language by tapping the screen or the arrows.
  • Tap the "Save" icon on the bottom right to save and quit the screen.

Language
  • Select another language.
  • Tap the "Save" icon on the bottom right to save and quit the screen

4.3 - Display

Display
  • Select torque and speed units:
           - Torque Nm/ft.lb/in.lb/Kg.m/Kg.cm/oz.in
           - Speed rpm/%

  • Tick "Keypad beep enabled" if required.
  • Tick "Backlight auto off": the screen will be automatically turned off after the timeout and turned on when the screen is touched.
  • Select the screen "Back light timeout" from 1 to 59 min. (15 by default)
  • Tap the "Save" icon to save and quit the screen

4.4 - Date & time

Date & time
  • Tap the current date and time to display the time keyboard.
  • Select year/month/day and time.
  • Select " Date/time syn source" to select the source of date/ time synchronization.
  • Tap the "Save" icon to save and quit the screen.

4.5 - Access manager

It is recommended to protect the controller parameters against hazardous changes.

  • Plug in a USB key on the front panel port with suffcient access rights to turn on / off the "Access control". When the key is unplugged, the access to the programming screens is locked.
  • Return to the controller screen and select "Enable Access Manager" if you want the user to display the screens without modifying them.
  • Tick "Lock screen enabled" to lock the screen in Monitoring views. The icon "Screen locked" will be then displayed.

4.6 - Networks


Networks
  • Type the Network name (up to 40 characters).
  • Enter the IP address, Subnet mask and Gateway parameters.
  • Tap the "Save" icon to save and quit the screen.

4.7 - Fieldbus

Fieldbus
  • Fill in the screens according to the selected Fieldbus module:
            - No Fieldbus
            - CC Link
            - Device net
            - Ethernet IP
            - Modbus TCP
            - Profbus
            - Profnet

We recommend you to use the "Fieldbus mapper" software to set the parameters.
